This beautiful, wallet size - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2", laminated St. Simon Stock holy card, bordered in gold, depicts this 13th century English saint receiving the vision of the Blessed Virgin. He was an early prior general of the Carmelite religious order. The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to him and gave him the Carmelite habit, the Brown Scapular. Popular devotion to Saint Simon Stock is usually associated with devotion to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. On the back of the card is printed the Prayer of Saint Simon.
