This beautiful, wallet size - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2", laminated Saint Germaine Cousin holy card, bordered in gold, depicts the 16th century daughter of humble French parents, with a shepherd's crook holding a lamb with flowers at her feet. Her widowed father's second wife ill-treated Saint Germaine, from which she learned humility and asceticism. She spent much of her life as a shepherdess and caring for the poor of the area.
