This beautiful, wallet size - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2", laminated Saint Stephen holy card, bordered in gold, depicts the first Christian martyr. He was one of the first deacons ordained by the Apostles to serve the widows and orphans of the early church. He drew the attention of those who were upset with these early converts. They accused him of heresy and stoned him to death. Among those at his execution was a man named Saul, who would become Saint Paul.
