This print features Saint Bernardine of Siena, 15th century Franciscan monk, one of the greatest preachers of his time, holding in his hand the IHS monogram he designed with rays emanating from it (representing his devotion to the "Holy Name of Jesus"), which was his main attribute. He started a branch of the Franciscan Order, the Friars of the Strict Observance, where he strongly emphasized scholarship and further study of theology and canon lawn. The print is presented in the Russian icon format in rich, warm colors to complement many decorating styles. The image has a beautifully soft look that will add a special touch to any home.
