This print features Saint Alice, 13th century Cistercian laysister, Patron Saint of the blind and paralyzed. At an early age in the abbey, Saint Alice contracted leprosy which eventually left her blind and paralyzed in great pain, which she offered up for the salvation of sinners and the souls in purgatory. The print is presented in rich, warm colors to complement many decorating styles. The image has a beautifully soft look that will add a special touch to any home.
