Oracion A La Madre De La Luz Spanish Laminated Prayer Cards (Pack of 25)
This beautiful, wallet size - 2 1/2" x 4 1/2", laminated Our Lady of Light holy card, bordered in gold, is a small 18th century painting by Italians for the Jesuit priest Fr. John Genovesi, and brought to the Cathedral of Leon in Mexico City as Patroness of that city. In the painting, based on the vision of a holy woman of Polermo, Sicily, a group of Seraphs hover in the air over the Blessed Mother and hold a triple crown above her head. Mary is clothed in a flowing robe, whiter than the snow and more brilliant than the sun. A belt inlaid with precious stones encircles Mary’s beautiful form, and from her graceful shoulders hangs a mantle of blue. Countless angels surround their Queen, but what most enchants the viewer was the untold sweetness and grace and benignity shown in the motherly face of Mary. She radiated clemency and love. On the back of the card is printed the Prayer to Our Lady of Light in Spanish. Artwork from the Milan, Italy, Studios of Cromo NB. Sold in packs of 25.
